Interior and Exterior

The Escape offers space for up to five passengers with plenty of legroom for back seat passengers. When you need additional cargo space, the second row can be folded down by pulling a lever. The Escape can be equipped with comfort features like heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. You can get leather-trimmed, cloth seats, or ActiveX seating, depending on the trim. The space-saving rotary gear shift dial makes shifting simple and provides added space for cupholders, USB ports, and other storage options. On the outside, you can get LED exterior lighting, and trims offer different grille options to help you customize the look and feel of the Escape. The Escape also has roof rack side rails to help you bring extra cargo, and the power liftgate makes it easier to load and unload cargo.

Performance

The Ford Escape comes standard with a 1.5L EcoBoost with options for a 2.0L EcoBoost engine, and both come with Auto Start-Stop Technology. The 1.5L offers up to 180 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque, while the 2.0L provides 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. There's also a 2.5L hybrid and plug-in hybrid option for a combined 192 horsepower and 210 horsepower, respectively. The Escape tows up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped and offers an Intelligent AWD system for added traction.

Technology and Features

The new Ford Escape comes standard with the SYNC 4 system with an 8-inch touchscreen and options for a larger 13.2-inch touchscreen. The SYNC 4 system offers standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to connect to your compatible smartphone. If you want an immersive listening experience around Brockton and Weymouth, the B&O Sound System has ten speakers and a subwoofer. For comfort features, the Escape has a dual-zone automatic temperature control system to adjust the different zones.

Safety

The Ford Co-Pilot360 package comes standard with driver-assist features like the Lane-Keeping System, Blind Spot Monitoring, Pre-Collision Assist, and others. They use cameras, sensors, and other features to improve awareness and help you avoid or reduce potential collisions. Some models are equipped with the Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 package with features like the 360-degree camera with split-view to reduce blind spots.
