Following the Free Wheeling is the Outer Banks trim. The Outer Banks has more safety technology, and it also has rain-sensing wipers that are heated. Several packages are also available for the Ford Bronco Sport. The base model, the Big Bend, can be outfitted with the convents of the Convenience package, which includes a leather steering wheel, garage door opener, wireless smartphone charging pad, heated front seats, and LED fog lights.

A Black Appearance package is also available to give the Big Bend trim black wheels, a black roof, and black exterior badges. The available Tech package adds an HD Radio™, wireless charging pad, and a 10-speaker sound system. With the Black Diamond Off-Road package, the Ford Bronco Sport will get 17-inch alloy wheels, underbody skid plates, and unique graphics.

Performance

There are two engines available with the Ford Bronco Sport. The base engine is a turbo 1.5-liter engine with three cylinders that produces 181 horsepower. The Badlands trim is powered by a turbo 2.0-liter engine with four cylinders. This engine's power output increases to 250 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard for most trims except the Badlands, which has four-wheel drive, and both engines have an eight-speed automatic transmission.
