The Ford Expedition Earns a J.D. Power APEAL Award for the Second Consecutive Year

Last month, Ford proudly announced that the automaker had taken home four best-in-segment J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout Study Awards — more than any other brand. One of those awards went to the Ford Expedition, which took home a second straight win for Large SUVs.

The largest SUV in the Ford lineup, the Expedition is available in three well-appointed trim levels. With such features as a SYNC® 3 infotainment system, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, tri-zone climate control, and SiriusXM® satellite radio, the Expedition is the perfect family vehicle. That's even truer when you consider that the Ford MyKey® system allows parents to set specific limits on the SUV's top speed and audio volume when someone else — like your teen driver — has borrowed the vehicle.

The Expedition features a powerhouse of a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, which delivers the performance one usually finds in a V8. With 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque at your command, it's easy to see why the Expedition has a max tow rating of 9,300 pounds when properly equipped.

To explore the Expedition in person and take one out for a convenient test drive, visit our Ford showroom at 2000 Washington Street in Hanover. We're a convenient drive for our customers from the Brockton, Weymouth, and Marshfield, MA areas.

The J.D. Power APEAL study, which is in its 24th year, measures owners emotional attachment and level of excitement across 77 vehicle attributes. The overall APEAL index score is measured on a 1,000-point scale, and the top-scoring vehicle in each segment is recognized.
